Bertrand Clinical Label (BCL) displayed at the GCSG-European Knowledge Forum in Barcelona, Spain. We've been attending this show since its inception, but this is the first year that we have displayed. "We were pleased with the level of contracts we made, and the interest in our products particularly our new quick ship (Pi) Labels™", said Jeff Bertrand. We will be displaying next year at GCSG-EKF in Portugal.

Bertrand Clinical Label (BCL) is excited to announce that it has installed several new machines to address its sales growth. The first is a new slitter-rewinder that has special capabilities to handle advanced label constructions. The new inspector includes special coating equipment and an advanced inspection station designed for booklet labels. The second is a custom built stand alone numbering station for customers that require back numbering on the liner.

Jeff Bertrand commented "Our dedicated clinical label division continues to make great progress in its market niche. We are adding more equipment in anticipation of continued growth there." BCL will be adding additional personnel as well. "These are exciting times for the company. The harder and more complicated projects are, the better we like them" noted Jeff.

We thank our friends at Contract Pharma in New Brunswick, NJ for a fantastic show and conference. As always, the food and contacts were excellent. This show is one of my favorites because it's like a reunion every year as you end up seeing many of the same people. I think we have been exhibiting there for 7 years. It's always a blast.

Bertrand Clinical Label installs second OCR inspection station to verify printed variable codes against customer supplied data files. "Business has been robust so we definitely needed another machine to handle the increased volume", explained Jeff Bertrand, CEO "The OCR machines are critical to maintaining our high level of quality." The current machine is in the validation phase and should be ready for production by the first week in March.

A picture of the "pioneers" of the first GCSG EU meeting in Barcelona, Spain."It was incredibly exciting to be part of the first GCSC meeting in Barcelona," says Jeff Bertrand. The organizers- Steve Jacobs, Jeroen Gerritsen, Joe Iacobucci, Christine Fattore, and others did a phenomenal job making the conference educational and fun. The theme was low key networking and open communication so that you came away with contacts and ideas to implement in your part of the clinical business. Jeff commented, "I can't wait to go back. The hotel, the people, the area and the experience were all great! Bravo to the organizers!!" The second meeting of the GCSG EU will take place in Barcelona next year in early October.

BCL is pleased to announce that its new website is now live. “We are very excited about this website because it more clearly defines our value proposition which is to make global clinical booklet labels more affordable,” says Jeff Bertrand. Jeff Bertrand will attend the Barcelona conference that will take place on October 7th through the 9th. Jeff commented “GCSG runs a phenomenal conference in the United States. It’s highly professional and very informative. I know this is the first conference in Europe so it’s exciting to be part of that! JH Bertrand’s clinical unit is renamed Bertrand Clinical Label (BCL).
Executives at JH Bertrand decided to rename the focused clinical unit to better illustrate the value offered to pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical trial material supply organizations. “Our clinical division is focused on clinical and has an excellent value proposition, but the message was being lost by being part of a larger organization that services other industries,” commented Jeff Bertrand. BCL is going to have a new website coming online on September 2nd. Bertrand Clinical Label is a wholly owned division of JH Bertrand.
